Watchface was looking good with GWD 1.5.1 Simulator (macOS) and tested ok on actual device Gear Sport, Tizen v.3.0.0.1. Then I submitted to Samsung Seller office, but got rejected by Testers because it's not working on S2. I tested the tpk on Remote Test Lab, and it's true, it's not working on RTL devices Gear S2 and S3 with Tizen v2.3.2.0. The app will be successfully "installed" but when you activate it on the RTL Device, it will load the parts of WF partially and freeze or sometimes it will say "Unable to load data...". I'm clueless how to fix this issue.

Thanks in advance for any advice what to do

Hi,

I think you should check different compatibility requirements
if they were properly managed like:
1. Image sizes related : http://developer.samsung.com/gear/design/watch-designer/gear-watch-image
2. General issues: http://developer.samsung.com/gear/design/watch-designer/gear-watch-compatibility
3. Design related guideline: http://developer.samsung.com/gear/design/principle/wearable

Hope it will help.

Hi, thanks for the response though I think I have complied with the requirements.

But I was able to resolve the issue myself by "brute force" troubleshooting...
1. Hide/Remove all data components (bpm, steps text, etc)
2. Show/Add one of the components
3. Build tpk
4. Install in Remote Test Lab device
5. If it works properly, repeat steps 2 to 4. Else if it doesn't, the latest added data component has some issue

I found out that my date text "MMM:dd:EEE" had some issue. I was using bitmap text and since there was no space character, I used ":" colon and put a transparent png for that character. When I removed the colon and just use "MMM dd EEE", it was working properly on the RTL device. My guess is that It seems that there's a bug with fully transparent png in bitmap text.

Hope this will help others who encounter the same issue in the future.
