Application Version-up

The “Version Up” of application usually takes place when you want to add some features to your application, or to update it due to defect resolutions. The version up process of application is similar with application registration process. At this process, you do not need to enter any of Basic information.

The following is the process of application version up.

If you go “Application” > “Management” menu, there will be all the applications which your group are managing. (Under registration, already registered, under certification, already launched, or dropped, etc.)

  • If the application which you wish to update is under certification, you need to cancel the certification using the “Drop” button at first then proceed the version up process.
  • If you want to version up your application for FCC applied model groups, you should support both “Caption” and “TTS (Text to Speech)” features. Otherwise, you are not permitted to launch your application on those model groups.
Note

Quick Release: If some defects are found during application certification, you will get certification result report from Samsung as the certification has been failed. However only if those defects are minor issues and you wish to release the application as of the quality, you may request to Samsung to release the application.
