In-App Purchase with Samsung Apps

What would be the best way to make revenue with mobile app? Recent study said it could be 'In-App Purchase'. In-App Purchases will rise to account for 64 percent of total market revenue in 2015, up from 39 percent in 2011. Revenue from in-app purchases will increase to $5.6 billion in 2015, up from $970 million in 2011, according to the IHS Screen Digest Mobile Media Intelligence Service.

Samsung Apps, the open market place to connect developers and buyers, currently has the global coverage of 122 countries including 50 countries where paid-apps are available. Samsung Apps also has its own In-App Purchase library for Android and bada.

If you want to sell items inside your applications such as in-game coins, levels and others, you may need to set servers up to communicate with, you may need billing infra to gather payments, you may need to manage interactions with users for authentications, payment and many other things. Plasma will simply handle all those things mentioned above and you don’t need to worry about it.

Lately, Samsung In-App Purchase library for Android is updated to the 1.6.0 version. This release includes Credit Card registration UI, Prepaid Card registration UI(China only), payment method seclection UI.
