TIZEN Mini-summit at the LinuxCon Europe 2012
Blog Nov 7, 2012

LinuxCon Europe is the event for the European Linux community, including community developers, system administrators, business executives and operations experts. LinuxCon also provides top notch speaking talent from around the world, innovative and abundant program content and a wide variety of opportunities to connect with fellow peers.

To continue to build global Linux development community, sessions and workshops with core Linux kernel maintainers/developers, keynotes, and a Tizen mini-summit were held at the event.

Intel and Samsung, as joint members of the Linux Foundation and sponsors of the event, co-hosted the ‘TIZEN mini-summit’ where Developers could get up to date with the platform overview, it’s architecture and have an advanced look at Web-based app development with the 2.0 alpha SDK. The Security and IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) sessions, showing TIZEN’s cross-profile features were particularly well received. ProFUSION embedded systems, were available to pass on their expertise of TIZEN’s graphics libraries.

The materials from the conference will be available shortly at the LinuxCon Europe website. http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/linuxcon-europe
