Hello developers.

I am developing an Android application that use the samsung s health sdk. From the sdk i get the pulse rate, blood pressure and certain other details . Now i want to pass these integer/string values over to my gear watch for displaying them in the gear app.

How do I send them to the gear 2 watch via Bluetooth. I have read about SAP (Samsung accessory protocol) but how can one use it to send data?

Also, do I need to store the data in some database on the gear 2 watch. Gear 2 as such does not support SQL Lite or any relational database like Android. So how does one achieve storage?

Please help me and let me know I am doing anything wrong. Please provide suggestions or improvements for doing the above

You can get all the tutorials and development guide in Tizen IDE for wearable's Help content.

For SAP Communication Tutorial Open:

Help -> Help Contents -> Tizen Wearable Web Application Programming -> Tutorials -> Device API Tutorials -> Communication Tutorials -> SAP Tutorial

For Database I think Indexed Database API Tutorial is what you are looking for.

For example Storage tutorial can be found at :

In Tizen IDE for wearable Open :

Help -> Help Contents -> Tizen Wearable Web Application Programming -> Tutorials -> W3C/HTML5 Tutorials -> System Tutorials -> Storage Tutorials

All 3 types of Storage are explained there:
  1. File API Tutorial.
  2. Indexed Database API Tutorial.
  3. Web Storage Tutorial.
There are many tutorials which are explanatory enough.

Also , for content (images, videos, music or other) located on the local device storage take a look at :

Help -> Help Contents -> Tizen Wearable Web Application Programming -> Programming Guide -> Device API Guides -> Content Guides

and manage the files and directories in the device file system take a look at:

Help -> Help Contents -> Tizen Wearable Web Application Programming -> Programming Guide -> Device API Guides -> I/O Guides

I/O Tutorials other than the above mentioned guides can be found at:

Help -> Help Contents -> Tizen Wearable Web Application Programming -> Tutorials -> Device API Guides -> I/O Tutorials

Hope this helps.
