Remote Galaxy Store

Remote Galaxy Store allows you to view your apps in the Galaxy Store of another region or country. Not only can you view your localized app content, you can see what the top apps are in that country.

Remote Galaxy Store launches the Galaxy Store on a Samsung mobile device using Cloud Device Farm. Cloud Device Farm provides remote access to an actual Samsung device over the Internet. Remote Galaxy Store can be launched for Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Philippines, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, and the U.S. Languages supported include English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and traditional Chinese.

Note

Your apps must be distributed to the country that you select. Otherwise, they will not appear in the Remote Galaxy Store. When you registered your app in Seller Office, you set these distribution countries.

Getting Started

Before you can start using Remote Galaxy Store, you must meet some basic requirements.

There is no cost to use Remote Galaxy Store.

Requirements

To access Remote Galaxy Store, you must have the following:

  • The latest version of the Chrome, Firefox, or Safari web browser installed on your personal computer

    Note

    Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge web browsers are not supported.

  • JavaScript enabled on the web browser

  • A Samsung account

    Note

    This account is not  the same as a Samsung Developers account or Samsung Program Developers account. If you do not have a Samsung account but do have an existing Samsung Developers or Samsung Developers Program account, sign up for a Samsung account using the same email address.

Launch Remote Galaxy Store

To launch Remote Galaxy Store:

  1. 1.

    Open the Samsung Developer Program web site in a supported web browser..

  2. 2.

    Access your Dashboard and log in.

  3. 3.

    From your dashboard, click Remote Galaxy Store.

  4. 4.

    Click START TESTING+.

    By default, a search is initiated for a Samsung mobile device for the U.S.

  5. 5.

    If a device is available, Cloud Device Farm/Remote Galaxy Store is launched.

    You can switch the country by clicking a country listed to the left of the device.

    You can use the device for up to 15 minutes, after which you will be automatically disconnected. Or, you can exit Cloud Device Farm at any time by clicking in the upper left corner of the screen.

    If you are familiar with Cloud Device Farm, you can perform all the actions available in it (such as taking and downloading screenshots). See Actions Summary for more information about the actions you can perform in Cloud Device Farm.

    Note

    Currently, all devices in Remote Galaxy Store are located in the United States. For users outside of the continental U.S., there may be a noticeable delayed response when using a device.
