tech session device ai, ai, smart appliances, iot/connectivity bixby upgrades for next-gen smart home appliances i would like to talk about the development and direction of voice recognition technology in samsung digital appliace. the voice recognition service, which started with s-voice and has been upgraded to bixby in its third generation, has evolved to recognize natural user speech and complex structured utterances. this change contributed to the evolution of home appliances beyond simple control execution tools into ai assistants that understand users' lifestyle patterns and provide tailored services accordingly. in addition, the bixby has been developed so that it can be used anywhere in the house, and the devices equipped with voice service have diversified accordingly. to address weaknesses in privacy issue and network dependence of existing voice service, some functions have supported on-device service. it has become possible to efficiently utilize it within devices through efficient and optimized architecture and models. we aim to protect users' privacy while providing them with a personalized experience using voice id. we will continue to explore ways to enhance our voice interfaces for further innovation in samsung home appliances. speakers hyoungjin lee samsung electronics back to list prev next
