Specifies whether to (temporarily) opt out of Local Network Access restrictions

Supported on:

  • Chrome (Windows) since version 142

Description:

When this policy is set to Enabled, Local Network Access
requests will only display warnings in Samsung Browser DevTools due to Local Network Access checks failing.

When this policy is set to Disabled or unset, Local Network Access requests will use the
default handling of these requests.

This enterprise policy is temporary, and will be removed after M152.

Long term, the policy LocalNetworkAccessAllowedForUrls
can be used to allowlist URL patterns that should be automatically granted
the Local Network Access permission.

true = Temporarily opt out of restrictions on requests to local network endpoints
false = Use default behavior when determining if websites can make requests to local network endpoints

Supported features:

  • Applied to browser without restart. Note that some ongoing tasks may not be affected.
  • Applied at Samsung Browser profile level.
