Have you ever reached your office entrance and had to stop to search your bag or pockets for an employee badge? With a compatible Galaxy smartphone, getting to work can be much simpler.
After bringing Aliro-based Digital Home Key access to homes, Samsung is expanding the Samsung Wallet digital key experience to commercial buildings. In collaboration with Kastle Systems, Samsung is launching Company ID in the United States and Canada, allowing employees to securely store a mobile employee badge in Samsung Wallet and use their Galaxy smartphone at a compatible reader to enter the building.

From the morning commute to a midday coffee run, employees use their badge several times a day. Once Company ID is added to Samsung Wallet, there is no need to pull out a physical card. Simply hold a Galaxy smartphone near a compatible access reader to enter.
Samsung Wallet delivers an optimized, high-performance NFC experience across compatible Galaxy devices and access readers. Even if the phone runs out of power and shuts off, supported devices can continue to provide building access for a limited time, helping employees stay on the move when it matters.

How to Add Company ID to Samsung Wallet
Getting started with Company ID is easy:

Verify Your Employee Status. Follow the instructions in your company’s application or website to confirm your identity and employee eligibility.

Add to Samsung Wallet. Tap the Add to Samsung Wallet button and follow the on-screen steps to add your Company ID.

Tap to Enter. Hold your Galaxy smartphone near a compatible access reader and use your mobile employee badge to enter.
Fast Access or Added Authentication—You Choose
Everyday access should be quick without compromising workplace security. With Fast Mode enabled, employees can enter without unlocking the phone or authenticating every time. Where additional verification is preferred, employees can turn off Fast Mode to require biometric or PIN authentication before using Company ID.
- Busy arrivals. Move through the entrance with one natural tap of your phone.
- A drained battery. On supported devices, access can remain available for a limited time after the phone powers off.
- Higher-security areas. Adjust Fast Mode settings to require user authentication before entry.
Aliro—From Home to the Workplace
Company ID is built on Aliro, the open digital access standard developed by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). Aliro is designed to support secure, consistent mobile credentials across different devices and access-control systems.
Samsung began its Aliro journey by making residential access more convenient with Digital Home Key. Now, together with Kastle Systems, Samsung is extending that experience to offices and commercial buildings. Through open standards and partner collaboration, users can move through more of their day using the Galaxy smartphone they already carry.
Security That Extends to a Lost Device
If a device is misplaced, users retain control of their Company ID. The Samsung Find application can remotely lock or erase a lost Galaxy device and take other protective actions, helping reduce the risk of unauthorized use of the mobile employee badge.
Fast NFC access, configurable user authentication, access for a limited time after power-off, and remote device controls work together to make workplace entry simpler while keeping security in focus.

Samsung Wallet Company ID is launching in the United States and Canada through Samsung’s collaboration with Kastle Systems. Feature availability may vary by Galaxy device, software version, employer, and building access system. Power reserve duration and supported features may also vary by device and settings.
