Samsung Electronics has launched the One UI 6 beta program. We strive to reflect the voices of Galaxy users and provide richer, more intuitive experiences with each One UI update. If you use a Galaxy S23 series device, you can preview new Galaxy features and interfaces and provide feedback through the One UI 6 beta program.

One UI 6 improves usability with more streamlined design and Quick Settings, and features improvements that enable you to personalize your device in detail based on your usage habits and preferences. Apply to the beta program in the Samsung Members application.

Self-supervised Accent Learning Using Native Language Data

Accented English from most non-native speakers is strongly affected by co-articulation of their mother tongue. Samsung researchers propose a new method to improve the accuracy of English speech recognition by first training an English speech recognizer with unlabeled native language data, then fine-tuning the well-trained English base model for a specific accent.
