Development Process

The development process for integrating a health device with Samsung Health begins with downloading the SDK and setting up the development environment, continues through integration development and self-testing, and ultimately concludes with acquiring the official WWSH (Works With Samsung Health) certification.

1. Downloading the SDK

2. Enabling the developer environment

By submitting your product details to us, such as your health device's brand and specific device information, we can issue a development key that allows you to configure a development and test environment. Establishing this environment is an essential step to look up device information and verify BLE connectivity prior to full-scale integration.

3. Developing your product and performing self-tests

You can integrate your device with Samsung Health using the specifications provided in the SDK. If you encounter any issues, our Developer Support team is available to assist you.
Once the development is complete, you can use the Verification Tool to perform a self-test and validate device compatibility.

4. Applying for WWSH certification

To ensure that your device supports reliable and seamless integration, we operate the Works With Samsung Health (WWSH) certification program. You can initiate this by applying for certification with your self-test results and shipping your test devices to our designated address.
We will verify the overall behavior of your device in both functional and non-functional aspects. Upon successful completion, your device will be officially certified.

Upon successful certification, we will notify you individually. You will then be able to download your WWSH Certificate and the official WWSH logo.
