The browser decodes images to display them normally on your screen. If the browser continues to change images that are displayed at a high speed, it may fail to display images on the screen due to unfinished decoding process. To avoid this, you can load and store images before you actually use them. By doing this, you save the time for image decoding:
var imagePreloading = new Image(); imagePreloading.src = "Resource/image/largeNFastChange.png";
Now, the browser decodes images. Images decoded once by the browser need not be decoded again later when they are used elsewhere, allowing your TV to display them faster.
