Basic Samsung Account (Integrated Account) Policies
Samsung Smart Hub provides an integrated login feature for applications that offer personalized menus and features when logged in. The integrated login links several service IDs and passwords to one representative account and enables a user to log in to all services with just one login.
This UI is provided by the system, so doesn't need to be developed separately.
To use the integrated login feature, a Samsung account needs to be created and service accounts need to be registered to the Smart TV account as shown below:
Login Status Indicator
As shown in Figure 5-1, the current login status is displayed in the status bar at the top of the screen using an icon. The login status indication icon is provided as shown in Table 5-1, depending on current status

Linking App Accounts to Samsung Accounts
By linking the service accounts for applications to Samsung Account, the user can use the linked applications just by logging into Samsung Account.
Service accounts can be linked to Samsung Account in the Edit Profile stage when creating a Samsung Account (Figure 5-6). The user can also enter the Linked Service Account screen from the status bar or the menu (Figure 5-7).
Linked Service Account List
Displays the applications currently installed on the TV that use the integrated login feature. The service account information of each application can be managed, and a shortcut to the sign-up page is provided for some applications.

Linking Service Accounts
When entering an application for which the service account has not been linked to the Samsung Account that the user is logged in to, the pop-up shown in Figure 5-8 is displayed. When the user enters the ID and password for the service account, the service account for the application is automatically linked to the current Samsung Account.
