ClockFace Plugin

Installing the ClockFace plugin enables you to use WFS to create skins for mobile device cover screens and creates a production environment for syncing your watch face and mobile cover screen designs.

Changes to the WFS Environment for Clock Face Projects

When working with clock face projects, because they are not watch faces, some WFS features are limited or not available:

  • Importing from a GWD resource is not supported, because GWD resources are watch face resources.
  • The screen shape is fixed to Rectangle because mobile device cover screens are rectangular.
  • Functionalities related to heart rate measurement and complications are not supported, because mobile devices do not support them.
  • The Publish and Upload functionalities are not supported, because plugin-based projects are not distributed through an app store.

Installing Clock Face Projects

When you have completed designing your cover screen, you can install and use it on your mobile device. The device must meet the following requirements:

  • The Good Lock application and its ClockFace application module are installed. Good Lock is available in selected countries only.
  • The device runs One UI version 5.1.1 or higher.
  • The device model matches the screen size that you selected when creating the project.
  • USB debugging is enabled. For instructions, see Enable adb debugging on the device.

To install a clock face project on the mobile device:

  1. In WFS, open the clock face project.
  2. Connect the device to your computer with a USB cable.
  3. Select Run on Device and select the device from the list.
If your device does not appear in the list, check that it meets the requirements.
