2.3 In-App Online Payment Service

The Samsung Pay SDK with its API library offers a quick and easy way to enable secure, one-touch payments in your app using your existing payment infrastructure. Once you integrate the SDK within your app's payment processing flow, users with the latest Galaxy-class smartphones will enjoy a rapid, consistent checkout process with Samsung Pay.

In-App Service Registration Flow

  • Step 1 - In-App Service Metadata Registration: Create In-App service by entering service specific information such as service name, PG, and CSR.
  • Step 2 - App Registration or App Selection: Register an app which will be using In-App payments. If you wish to re-use app which you have already registered, you can select it from drop-down menu. If an app is still in development, debug key can be used for testing without having to upload APK.
  • Step 3 - Request for Service Release: Once development is complete, service release request can be submitted. The service release request requires release version of APK to be registered in the Samsung Pay Developers site.
  • Step 4 - Service Approval: Samsung Pay team will review functionalities and UI of the app uploaded. Relationship manager will approve the service release if everything looks OK. If for some reason, the request is rejected the relationship manager will explain the reason. Service release request can be re-submitted once reject reason has been addressed.
  • Final - Release: The service is ready for release.
