Icon color
The colors in One UI icons indicate the characteristics of the apps and provide a harmonious and consistent experience.
We use bright, vibrant background colors to project confidence, and the contrast between the colored backgrounds and white symbols produces an intuitive, distinct brand identity.
The backgrounds of app icons are generally a single color, but analogous colors can also be used for parts of the symbol. In some cases, backgrounds can use gradients made of 3 or fewer analogous colors to maintain previous app identities.
