Create a new service with the Merchant Onboarding API

To create a service:

  1. After you have received the email notification about your membership approval, log in to the Samsung Pay Portal.

  2. Allowlist the IP addresses of the servers that call the Merchant Onboarding API as follows:

    1. In the top-right corner of your dashboard, select Profile menu > Firewall IP & Onboarding API.

    2. Enter an IP address to allowlist, and then click ADD.

      Repeat this step to add all required IPs.

    3. In the Firewall IP List, tick the check boxes for all required IPs.

    4. Click REQUEST.

    5. Enter a message that describes your IP allowlisting request, and then click CONFIRM.

      The server IP addresses are allowlisted and their status changes to Active after Samsung Pay approves the request.

  3. Create a service by calling the POST /wallet/v1/partner/services API operation.

    Once the Samsung team approves your service, they email the test account details to all members registered for the service. One hour later, you can access the test environment with the test account and download the Samsung Wallet test app. For more information, see Test and release the integration.

  4. Add one or more merchants to the service by calling the POST /wallet/v1/partner/merchants API operation with your test credentials.
