Register as a member

To sign up as a member of Samsung Pay Developers and request access to the developer site:

  1. Open the Samsung Developer site in your browser and click Sign in.

  2. Determine how to proceed:

    • If you have a Samsung Business Account, sign in and proceed to step 8.
    • If you have a Samsung Account for personal use, sign in, select Dashboard > Business Account, click Create Business Account, and then proceed to step 7.
    • If you do not have any kind of Samsung Account yet, click Create account and continue with the next step.
  3. Accept the terms, conditions, and notice of financial incentives, and click Agree.

  4. Complete the sign-up form and click Next.

    Use a company or business email for account creation, preferably one that does not change over time (for example, dev@company.com).

    You receive a verification code in your email.

  5. Enter the verification code to verify your email address and click Next and then Done.

    Your Samsung Account activates, and you receive a notification email.

  6. Select your account type as business, and click Next.

  7. Select whether you want to create a new business account or join an existing one, and click Next:

    If you selected to create a new business account:

    1. Accept the terms of use and privacy policy, and click Next.

    2. Enter your business or organization information and click Next.

    3. Enter your business or organization contact details and click Submit.

      Your access to Samsung Developer Portal for your Samsung Account is now available and you receive a notification email. You can also access your business account dashboard on the portal.

    If you selected to join an existing business account:

    1. Accept the terms of use and privacy policy, and click Next.

    2. Enter the name or the manager email for the business account you want to join and click Send Request.

    3. Click Go home.

      Your access to Samsung Developer Portal with your Samsung Account is now available and you receive a notification email. After the business account manager approves your membership request, you receive another notification email and get access to your business account dashboard on the portal.

  8. Open the Samsung Pay Portal site and sign in with your Samsung Account.

  9. Click Become a Pay partner.

  10. Accept the terms and privacy policy, and click Next.

  11. Verify your account profile and click Next.

  12. Wait for an email that notifies you of your membership approval.

    Your membership must be approved before you can access the Samsung Pay Portal. If necessary, the Samsung Pay team may request additional details before granting approval.

  13. After your membership is approved, sign in to the Samsung Pay Portal, select your partner type as Merchant or Payment Gateway, as applicable, and then click CONFIRM.

    Your Samsung Pay dashboard opens.

Next, complete the remaining onboarding steps based on your partner type:

Register as a PG

If your partner type is Payment Gateway, you must register to Samsung Pay Portal as a PG to allow Samsung Pay services to configure you as the payment gateway.

To register as a PG:

  1. Sign in to the Samsung Pay Portal.

  2. In the PG section of your dashboard, click Create or Assign PG.

  3. Select a registration method:

    • Create a New PG: Register a new PG.
    • Assign Existing PG: Request ownership of a PG previously created and managed by Samsung admin.
  4. Click NEXT.

  5. Complete the setup based on your registration method:

    • Assign Existing PG:

      1. Click SELECT PG.
      2. Select the PG to manage.
      3. Click DONE.
    • Create a New PG:

      Enter the following information, and then click DONE:

      • PG Name: Enter a name for the PG.

      • PG Description: Enter a description.

      • PG Location: Select the countries where the PG operates.

      • Environment: Select Staging or Production to indicate whether the services created under this PG are for testing or live use.

      • PG Signature Check:

        Select Yes if the certificate signing request (CSR) issued to your merchants is signed by your own key. In this case, you must upload the signature verification key in the CSR field below so that Samsung can validate the service CSR when services that use your PG are registered.

        Otherwise, select No.

      • CSR (available only if PG Signature Check is Yes):

        Upload the signature verification key file, set its validity period, and specify whether it is Active.

  6. Click DONE.

  7. Submit your PG for approval:

    1. In the PG section of your dashboard, click Request in the Change Status column.
    2. Enter a message to describe your approval request and click CONFIRM.
    3. Once Samsung approves your request, you receive an email notification. You can also check your approval status on the Samsung Pay Portal.

The PG is available in the service configurations only after it is approved.

Invite new members to your business account

To invite a new member:

  1. Log in to Samsung Pay Portal.

  2. From the dashboard, click the arrow icon in the Business Account Member tab and click Invite.

  3. Enter the email address and role (member or manager) for the member you want to invite.

    To invite more members, click Add another member for each of them.

  4. To send the invite, click Invite member(s).
