For the apps which are used most frequently, users can designate them as Reserved Apps, allowing them to quickly access them when needed.
Reserved app criteria:
Reserverd apps must be designed to display the current time at the top center of the screen. When a reserved app is running, if the screen is turned off and the show last app time duration has passed, the reserved app is displayed when the screen is turned on again (instead of the watch face).
Because reserved apps are shown instead of the watch face, they need to be designed carefully to meet all of the required criteria.
When a reserved app is running, even if the user can use the home key to return to the watch face or run other apps. The ongoing icon can then be used to return to the reserved app.
When multiple reserved apps are running, they are organized MRU-style (most recently used). When the screen is turned on, the most recently used reserved app is displayed (instead of the watch face).
