User Interaction

Samsung TVs support user interaction using a variety of input devices. Since users mainly interact with a TV from a distance, TV applications must support interaction through external input devices.

The following input devices are supported on Samsung TVs:

• Remote Control
  The user most commonly interacts with the TV using a remote control.
  
  

• Mouse
  The user can interact with the TV using a connected mouse.
  
  

• Keyboard/IME
  The user can interact with the TV using a connected keyboard or a virtual keyboard (IME).
  
  

• Gamepad
  The user can interact with the TV using a connected gamepad.
