Overview

Before you proceed to implement the push provisioning use case, you must ensure that the customer's device supports Samsung Pay by checking the Samsung Pay status on the customer device. The status check determines whether you can display the Samsung Pay button in your app.

The Samsung Pay button allows the customer to enroll a card to Samsung Wallet.

The status check is the first step when using the Samsung Pay SDK for Android or Flutter, and you must perform it before initiating the push provisioning process. If the check determines that the Samsung Pay button cannot be shown because Samsung Pay needs activating or the Samsung Wallet app needs updating, you can guide the customer to handle those tasks and then perform the check again.
