Prerequisites

Before integrating Save to Pay, make sure to meet the following prerequisites:

  • Register for the Save to Pay service with Samsung Pay.

    To register, contact the Samsung Pay Development and Operations teams.

  • Provide the following information to Samsung:

    • Country
    • Card type as PAYMENT
    • Card network, for example, Visa or Mastercard
    • Whether you use the Save to Pay JavaScript library (YES or NO)
    • Base URLs of your testing/staging (STG) and production (PRD) servers, where Save to Pay can send outbound notifications
    • IP addresses for both staging and production environments, from which your system calls Save to Pay endpoints. Samsung allowlists them to allow you access.
    • Client certificate signed by your Certificate Authority (CA) that Samsung can use to send notifications to your server

  • Obtain a client certificate from Samsung.

    Submit a certificate signing request (CSR) to Samsung Pay Operations team as part of the registration process.

    Samsung signs your CSR using its internal CA and returns the client certificate to you. Samsung also assigns separate partner IDs for your staging and production environments, which you must include in the header of every request sent to the Save to Pay endpoints.
