Are you taking advantage of all the ways to monetize your game in Galaxy Store?
Galaxy Store can provide you a new revenue stream and opens the opportunity to diversify your sales. Here are some ways to monetize and make the most from your games in Galaxy Store:
Paid games – Customers must purchase your game before they can play it. Seller Portal allows you to set a single price for your game among all countries (using the current exchange rate) or set individual prices for each country.
Discounts and coupons for paid games – Customers can purchase your paid game at a lower price for a limited time. Offering a discount or coupon can help to introduce or draw interest to a new or existing game. Seller Portal allows you to set a discount rate or generate and issue coupons for your game.
In-App purchases – Customers can purchase premium content or virtual goods, such as in-game items. It doesn't matter if your game is paid or free, you can offer and charge your customers for in-app items using Samsung In-App Purchase.
Subscriptions – Customers can pay for specific items or services that can be used for a set period of time. After the time period expires, subscription items are automatically renewed and repurchased until the customer cancels them. Subscription items are created using Samsung In-App Purchase and set up in Seller Portal.
Tier pricing using subscriptions – Customers can purchase subscription items at a lower price for a limited time (for example, an introductory offer to try something new). When the lower price period ends, the customer is charged the standard or regular subscription price. Because these are subscription items, they are automatically renewed and repurchased until the customer cancels them. Tier pricing is used with subscription items that are created using Samsung In-App Purchase and set up in Seller Portal.
In-App purchases, subscriptions, and tier pricing open a continuous revenue stream from your customers. Using Samsung IAP gives you the ability to offer items of interest to your customers on an ongoing basis.
Monetize with Samsung In-App Purchase
Samsung In-App Purchase (IAP) is a payment service that makes it possible to sell a variety of items in applications for Samsung Galaxy Store and internally manages communication with supporting IAP services in the Samsung ecosystem, such as Samsung Account, Samsung Checkout, and Samsung Rewards.
Samsung provides examples, beta testing, and technical support to help with the integration of the SDK and server APIs. If you develop your games on the Unity or Unreal development platform, you can integrate with Samsung IAP using the Samsung IAP plugin for the Unity or Unreal development platforms. See Samsung In-App Purchase for more information about Samsung IAP.
Note :
Payment options vary from country to country. For example, in the U.S., customers may use a credit card, Paypal*, Samsung Rewards points, or a coupon. In Korea, customers may use a credit card or Micropayment.
*Paypal is not a valid payment option for subscriptions.
