Galaxy Store Badge Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions for use of Galaxy Store Badges.
Overview
You help power the Galaxy Store and create unique experiences for Galaxy mobile device and Galaxy Watch device consumers. Samsung welcomes you to promote your apps with a badge that sends your customers to your apps' product detail pages or your entire app line's seller brand page in the Galaxy Store, or sends them to a help page that guides your customers to those Galaxy Store pages (“Badge Service”). Depending on your relationship with us, the process to obtain a badge may vary. Please refer to the Seller Portal or SDP Dashboard for more information.

Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Badge. Samsung, at its sole discretion, retains the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
By obtaining and using a Badge, you agree to abide by the following:
-
Samsung Developer Program (SDP) End User License Agreement
-
Badge Usage: You can use your Badge in any of your marketing materials and communication channels to promote your apps and services being distributed in the Galaxy Store and Galaxy Themes app stores. Badges may not be used for any other purpose. Badge Images may only be used as a hyperlink that targets the corresponding Badge Link.
Dos and don’ts of Badge use:
- Do not edit or modify a Badge Image or your Badge Links.
- Do link your own text and images to your Badge Links.
- Do display Badge Images at a large enough size so that all badge text is readable.
- Do not use tags to generate a Badge Link that:
- Are unrelated to the application being promoted by the Badge.
- Infringe upon the rights of any other person or entity including but not limited to intellectual property rights (such as copyrights or trademark rights).
- Are illegal or reasonably considered to be inappropriate, defamatory, profane, or indecent.
-
Data Collection/Retention: You will be asked to provide certain information about the Samsung Account obtaining a Badge, including email, brand name, and app name. Samsung will store the Samsung Account email address(es) to support communication regarding the Badge Service (for example, service changes, sharing performance reports via email), anonymous click data (including counts, date and time, browser’s user agent), and shortlink referral sites. Samsung records and reports Badge Link usage data for your use and Samsung’s use. Unless deleted by sellers, Samsung retains information about Badge Links (such as package name, application title, tag, Samsung Account email address, and app seller name, brand ID, and deeplink). To delete a Badge Link, please refer to Seller Portal or the SDP Dashboard for more information. Deletion of a Badge Link will not delete any historical click count information. If you wish to delete all Badge data, submit a support request and provide the relevant Badge information.
-
Terminating a Badge Link: The Samsung Galaxy Store Badge Service is provided 'as-is' and 'as available' without any express, implied, statutory, or other type of warranty. Samsung at its sole discretion may render a Badge Link invalid and nonfunctional due to the following circumstances or at its sole discretion: low Badge Link or Badge app usage, app suspension, and/or request for termination by the Samsung Account attached to the Badge Link.
-
Communications: For all communications pertaining to a Badge Link, Samsung will communicate with the Samsung Account holder who tied to the Badge. You agree to receive emails about Badge Link performance.
-
Badge Service Changes: Samsung retains the right at any time to change Badge Link domain names, to change Badge Link tags, to change Badge Images, make changes to the Badge Service, or terminate the Badge Service.
