Get a Galaxy Store Badge Link

Get a Galaxy Store badge image and link to promote your Galaxy Store apps:

  • Insert Galaxy Store badge images directly into your marketing materials and link the images to your badge links.
  • Link UI text or elements to your badge links.

You can create more than one badge for your product detail page or seller brand page. This enables you to track where a link comes from. For example, if you want to track how many clicks come from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, create a badge for each site. Include a reference to the link source in the tag name (for example, MyAppfb, MyApptw, and MyAppin). Don't use hyphens in the tag name (for example, don't use MyApp-fb) as Galaxy Store Statistics (a tool in Seller Portal that tracks your badge clicks and conversions) ignores the hyphen and any characters that appear after the hyphen.

Depending on your app type, you can generate a badge link that directs your customers to either your:

  • Product detail page for one of your Android, Galaxy Watch, or Theme apps

  • Seller brand page with all of your Galaxy Watch or Theme apps

  1. Log in to Seller Portal.

  2. Click on Promotion and then Badges.

  3. Click Generate Badge.

  4. Select the Badge Type and complete the required fields.

    Field Badge Type Description
    Badge Type App Detail Page Create a badge link to the app's product detail page for one of your Android, Galaxy Watch, or Theme apps.

    You must have an app for sale in Galaxy Store before you can generate this badge type.

    Galaxy Watch Brand Page Create a badge link to your watch brand page with all of your Galaxy Watch apps.

    You must have entered your Galaxy Watch Application Brand Information in your Seller Portal profile to create a watch brand page before you can generate this badge type.

    Theme Seller Page Create a badge link to your Themes seller page with all of your Galaxy Theme apps.

    You must have entered your Galaxy Themes Seller Image information in your Seller Portal profile to create a themes seller page before you can generate this badge type.

    Application Title App Detail Page The title of your app that is registered in Seller Portal.

    Click Search Application, enter any filter data, and click Search to view and select from a list of your apps that are for sale. Then, select the radio button next to the app for which you want to create a badge and click Save.

    App ID App Detail Page Auto-Filled with the app's content ID after you select the Application Title.
    Brand Name Galaxy Watch Brand Page Auto-Filled. Name of your seller brand, as configured in your Seller Portal profile.
    Brand ID Galaxy Watch Brand Page Auto-Filled. Unique identifier (10 numeric characters) assigned by Samsung to your Seller Portal account.
    Seller DeepLink Theme Seller Page Auto-Filled. Unique identifier (10 numeric characters) assigned by Samsung to your Seller Portal account
    Preferred Tag App Detail Page, Galaxy Watch Brand Page, Theme Seller Page A character set (three to nine alphanumeric characters, case-insensitive, and must be unique among all active badge links) that becomes part of your badge link (http://galaxy.store/[tag]).

    We recommend a badge tag that is easy for your customers to type.

    I have read and agree to the Important Notice. App Detail Page, Galaxy Watch Brand Page, Theme Seller Page You must agree to the terms and conditions of Galaxy Store badges in order to use them.

    Click Important Notice, read the information, and click OK to exit the window. Select the checkbox after you have read and agree with the information.

    After you have generated a badge, you can download a badge image.
