Get Started with the Galaxy Store fastlane Plugin

Before you can start using the Galaxy Store fastlane plugin, you must meet the requirements listed on this page.

Requirements

Once you have completed the following prerequisites, installation, and authentication setup, you can start using the Galaxy Store fastlane plugin.

Prerequisites

Create a Samsung account

A Samsung account is required to register for a Seller Portal account. You may sign up for a Samsung account when you register for a Seller Portal account (next item).

Register with Galaxy Store Seller Portal

Obtain commercial seller status

In order to distribute Android apps or in-app products in Galaxy Store, your Seller Portal account must have commercial seller status.

Register your app(s) in Seller Portal

You must first register your apps in Seller Portal to obtain the 12-digit contentId needed by the plugin to identify the app.

Installation

Prepare your project

Either add the plugin to your project:

fastlane add_plugin galaxystore

add the plugin manually to your fastlane/Pluginfile:

gem 'fastlane-plugin-galaxystore'

Install the plugin

Run the following command: bundle install

Authentication

The plugin requires two credentials for all API calls: an access token and a service account ID.

Create a service account

In Seller Portal, create a service account and specify the APIs to be used.

Create a JSON Web Token

Create a JSON Web Token using the predefined attributes.

Request an access token

Request an access token from the Galaxy Store authentication server using the accessToken API.

(Optional) Validate the access token

Verify the access token is valid.

Set the credentials as environment variables

If you set the credentials as environment variables, the plugin reads them automatically.

export GALAXY_STORE_ACCESS_TOKEN="your-access-token"
export GALAXY_STORE_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_ID="your-service-account-id"

NoteIf you need to pass credentials explicitly (for example, from a CI secret store), every action accepts access_token: and service_account_id: parameters that override these environment variables.
